eMessage

The eMessage system provides a secure and monitored way to send and receive electronic messages. Messages are subject to review in accordance with ADOC policies. Instructions for setting up an account, purchasing message credits, and sending messages are available through the approved vendor.

Phone System

Incarcerated individuals may place outbound phone calls through the approved phone service provider. Family members must establish an account with the vendor to receive calls. Calls are subject to monitoring and recording in accordance with ADOC regulations.

Starting October 27, 2025 Your Inmate’s Mailing Address Is Changing! All inmate personal mail is going digital

The address to send mail to your inmate has changed. All personal mail such as letters, pictures, and drawings will now be digitally delivered to your incarcerated loved one or friend via the tablet.

Packages and legal mail should continue to be sent to the local address of the facility.

Note: Personal mail sent to the facility after November 10, 2025 will be returned to sender.

Your inmate’s mail must now be addressed to:

IMPORTANT:
To ensure your mail gets delivered, you must include ALDOC Inmate Mail Processing, as well as the Inmate name and Inmate AIS number. Please also note that the sender’s full name and physical address must be clearly written on the top left corner of the envelope.

Digital Messages

As a reminder, your family and friends can also exchange digital messages with you online or on the Corrlinks mobile app.

The form below must be filled out accurately and completely. Please print out this form and email back to ohs.medicalrecords@doc.alabama.gov. This information will be sent to ADOC’s Office of Health Services for review.

Visitation rules, policies, forms, and changes will be posted in the law library and noted in the facility orientation packet. In addition, the visitation policies may be posted on bulletin boards, facility newsletters, and PED tablets (personal electronic devices).

All visitors shall initially be identified against a photo-identification card issued by a federal, state, county, or city governmental agency. The following information shall be collected: full name, physical address (no Post Office Boxes will be accepted), city, state, date of birth (DOB), state driver’s license number, and phone number(s).

All visits must be pre-scheduled and approved.
