MONTGOMERY, Ala. – On Saturday, February 14, 2026, the ADOC K-9 team assigned to Staton Correctional Facility arrested suspects Tyrone Davis and Kelvin Gibbons on charges of Trafficking Methamphetamine, Trafficking Synthetic Cannabinoids, Possession of Marijuana, and Attempting to Promote Prison Contraband 2nd. A backpack was discovered in their possession containing the following items:
- Approximately 171 gross grams of methamphetamine
- Approximately 802 gross grams of marijuana
- Approximately 87 gross grams of white printer paper sprayed with synthetic cannabinoids
- 17 cell phones
- 16 sets of wireless earbuds
- 19 USB wires
- 7 USB blocks
- 3 pocketknives
- 1 digital scale
- 99 Black N Milds
- 1 bottle of Patron Tequila
The investigation is ongoing and further charges may be pending.
