ADOC K-9 ARREST THREE ON CONTRABAND CHARGES AT FOUNTAIN
MONTGOMERY, Ala. – On Wednesday, November 5, 2025, staff at Fountain Correctional Facility reported an attempted contraband incident to ADOC K-9. Agents immediately responded and made a traffic stop on suspects Jamarion Sanders, Austin Jones, and Devon Walton. They were detained, interviewed, and ultimately arrested on the following charges:
- Trafficking Fentanyl
- Trafficking Methamphetamine
- Trafficking Opium
- Possession of Marijuana 1st
- Prohibited Activities
- Promoting Prison Contraband 1st
- Promoting Prison Contraband 2nd
- Distribution of a Controlled Substance (Fentanyl)
- Distribution of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine)
- Distribution of a Controlled Substance (Opium)
- Distribution of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana)
The suspects were transported to the Escambia County Jail without incident.
Recovered Contraband:
- 14 g Fentanyl
- 39 Opioid Pills
- 56 g Methamphetamine
- 152 g Marijuana
- 2 Cell Phones
