MONTGOMERY, Ala. – On Thursday, February 27, 2025, the Alabama Department of Corrections Law Enforcement Services Division (LESD) Narcotics and K-9 Units executed a search warrant at the home of Frances Theresa Linares in Huntsville. She is suspected of sending contraband into ADOC facilities. The search resulted in the discovery of a home lab used to manufacture synthetic Cathinones and the following items:
- Approximately 264 grams of Marijuana — Approximate street value $5,280Â
- Approximately 196 grams of THC Wax — Approximate street value $19,200
- Approximately 54 grams of Fentanyl Pills — Approximate street value $10,800
- Approximately 368 grams of Synthetic Cathinones — Approximate street value $18,400
- 2 firearms
- Assorted material used to manufacture synthetic cathinones.Â
Linares, 37 years old, was arrested and transported to the Madison County Jail where she was charged with Trafficking and Manufacturing 1st degree.
This LESD investigation is ongoing and further charges may be pending.
