TWO ARRESTED ON CONTRABAND CHARGES AT VENTRESS CORRECTIONAL FACILITY

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – On July 26, 2025, the Clayton Police Department responded to Ventress Correctional Facility regarding a suspicious vehicle on ADOC property. Officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle, but it fled. ADOC K9 agents assisted in the pursuit of the suspects. Officers observed the suspects throwing packages out of the vehicle during the pursuit. Suspects Cade Daylon Hill and Olivia Hope Daukza were apprehended and the packages were recovered.

Contraband seized included 1 drone and approximately:
30 g Fentanyl
62 g Synthetic
60 g Meth
62 g Heroin 
64 g Cocaine
360 g Marijuana

Both suspects were arrested and charged with Promoting Prison Contraband 1st, Promoting Prison Contraband 2nd, 2 counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana, 5 counts of Trafficking, and Attempting to Elude. The investigation is ongoing and additional charges may be pending.
