CONTRABAND ARREST AT DONALDSON

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – On Thursday, June 5, 2025, Alabama Department of Corrections (ADOC) Communications was notified about a security officer behaving suspiciously at Donaldson Correctional Facility. Allied Universal Officer Aniki Jones was detained after trying to avoid shakedown and admitted to possessing marijuana.

ADOC Law Enforcement Services Division (LESD) conducted interviews and collected three contraband packages, which were discovered to contain marijuana, methamphetamine, and an unknown substance.

Jones was transported to the Jefferson County Jail and has been charged with Promoting Prison Contraband 1st, Possession of Marijuana 1st, and Trafficking Methamphetamine.

Recovered contraband included approximately:
• 230 grams of marijuana
• 172 grams of methamphetamine

The investigation is ongoing and additional charges may be pending.
