ADOC EMPLOYEE ARRESTED ON CONTRABAND CHARGE AT FOUNTAIN

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – On Wednesday, January 21, 2026, the ADOC K-9 teams assigned to Fountain Correctional Facility were conducting vehicle checkpoints. Canine Gambler alerted to an odor of narcotics in the vehicle of employee Donniquia Grace. A search was conducted and a contraband package was discovered on her person.

She was detained and interviewed by ADOC agents and subsequently arrested and transported to the Escambia County Jail where she was charged with Attempting to Promote Prison Contraband 3rd and Use of Position for Personal Gain.

She has resigned her from her position with the ADOC. The investigation is ongoing and further charges may be pending.
