ADOC CONTRABAND ARREST IN GEORGIA

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – On Tuesday, March 24, 2026, ADOC narcotic agents conducted an investigation into promoting prison contraband in Elmore County, Ala. As a result, Jeffrey Young was arrested and charged with Conspiracy to Commit a Controlled Substance Crime (Trafficking meth, Trafficking Fentanyl, and Trafficking Synthetic Cannabinoids), Illegal Drone Operation, and Promoting Prison Contraband 1st.

Young was located in Baldwin County, Ga., and transported back to Elmore County Jail. He has a $4,530,000.00 bond.

The investigation is ongoing and further charges may be pending.
