ADOC ARREST WARRANTS EXECUTED BY U.S. MARSHALS SERVICE TASK FORCE

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – On Tuesday, January 20, 2026, U.S. Marshals Service Task Force officers executed an arrest warrant at the residence of Christopher Needham in Birmingham.
Needham held active arrest warrants through Marshall County for Criminal Conspiracy to Commit a Controlled Substance Crime and Criminal Conspiracy to Promote Prison Contraband 2nd, both of which were obtained by the Alabama Department of Corrections Law Enforcement Services Division.
During the execution of the arrest warrants, officers observed two bags, in plain view, of marijuana and several firearms. A search warrant was obtained to search the residence resulting in the seizure of:
423.72 gg marijuana
9.42 gg suspected cocaine
$3,369 in U.S. currency
3 rifles
2 handguns
Multiple magazines and several rounds of ammunition
Needham was arrested and charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 1st, Possession with Intent to Distribute a Controlled Substance, Certain Persons Forbidden to Possess a Firearm, and Possession of a Short-Barreled Rifle.
The investigation is ongoing and further charges may be pending.
